২। একদশক আগেও এই ব্যবসায়ে যা লাভ হত, ইদানীং তা আর হয় না। এর জন্য অধিকাংশ ফ্রি পর্নসাইটকেই দায়ী করা হচ্ছে। সেই সঙ্গে তৃতীয় বিশ্ব থেকে ক্রমাগত এমএমএস আপলোড পর্ন ইন্ডাস্ট্রিকে বিপুল বিপদে ফেলেছে।

৬। পর্ন তারকাদের ব্যক্তিগত জীবন খুবই স্বাভাবিক। রন জেরেমি, ম্যাগডালেন সেন্ট মাইকেল বা জুলিয়া অ্যানতো রীতিমতে সম্মানিত। কিন্তু এই জায়গায় পৌঁছতে ভয়াবহ স্ট্রাগল করতে হয়। অনেকেই হারিয়ে যান অন্ধকারে।

৭। অন্যান্য সিনেমার মতো পর্ন ছবির শ্যুটিংয়ে বিপুল সংখ্যক টিম মেম্বার থাকে না। অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রেই সেটে অভিনেতা-অভিনেত্রী ছাড়া চিত্রগ্রাহক, পরিচালক এবং একজন সাউন্ড রেকর্ডিস্টই শুধু থাকেন। তবে ইতালি বা স্ক্যান্ডিনেভিয়ান দেশগুলিতে পর্ন একটা রীতিমতো ইন্ডাস্ট্রি।
