কানেকটিকাটের মেডিসনের এক ৩৯ বছর বয়সী সেই নারী একটি স্কুলের ইংরেজির শিক্ষিকা। সেই শিক্ষিকা তার স্কুলের ছাত্রদের অশ্লীল মেসেজ এবং নিজের অশ্লীল সেলফি তুলে পাঠান। শুধু তাই নয়, তার সঙ্গে শারীরিক সম্পর্ক স্থাপনেরও আমন্ত্রণ জানান।

পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গেছে, এই যৌন নীপিড়নের শিকার সেই ছাত্রের পরিবারের অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে শিক্ষিকার বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে৷ সেই ছাত্রের বক্তব্য, অভিযুক্ত শিক্ষিকা দুপুরের খাবার খাওয়ার অজুহাতে তাকে ডেকে নিয়ে যান এবং জোর করে তার সঙ্গে শারীরিক সম্পর্ক স্থাপনের চেষ্টা করেন৷ আদালত সেই শিক্ষিকাকে তিন বছরের জন্য কারাদণ্ডে দণ্ডিত করেছে
