For the research, there are 10 men who have been recorded as male scribes. Their comments were recorded in this context. It has been found that every woman has also tried to visualize the appearance of her face, sex or even her, after hearing the voice of a man. Researchers have noticed more trends from their answers.

পুরুষের কণ্ঠস্বর নারীর মনে গভীর আলোড়ন সৃষ্টি করে। কেবল কণ্ঠস্বরের মাধ্যমেই পুরুষের দেহের গঠন, উচ্চতা, রসবোধ আন্দাজ করার চেষ্টা করেন নারী।

গবেষকেরা জানিয়েছেন, আসলে শব্দের কম্পন ও কণ্ঠস্বরের ওঠানামাই হল আসল বিষয়। একজন পুরুষ কী বলছেন, কীভাবে বলছেন তা এক্ষেত্রে একটুও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নয়। ভারী কণ্ঠস্বরে নারীরা বেশি আকর্ষিত হন।
গবেষণার জন্য ১০ জন নারীকে রেকর্ড করা পুরুষকণ্ঠ শোনানো হয়। এর প্রেক্ষিতে তাদের মন্তব্যও রেকর্ড করা হয়। দেখা গেছে, প্রত্যেক নারীই পুরুষের কণ্ঠস্বর শুনে তার চেহারা, যৌনতা এমনকি তাকে কেমন দেখতে তা আঁচ করার চেষ্টাও করেছেন। তাদের উত্তর থেকে গবেষকেরা আরও বেশ কিছু প্রবণতা লক্ষ করেছেন।
যেমন, কোন পুরুষের কণ্ঠস্বর ভারি হলে এবং কণ্ঠস্বর কম কাঁপলে মহিলারা সেটি বেশি পছন্দ করেন।
