বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়া ওই শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের যুক্তি, নারী শিক্ষার্থীদের চীনের ঐতিহ্যবাহী মূল্যবোধ অনুযায়ী শিক্ষা দেওয়া হচ্ছিল। সেখানে নারীদের শেখানো হতো যে তাদের সব সময় পুরুষের অধস্তন ও বাধ্যগত থাকতে হবে। শ্রেণিকক্ষে দেওয়া শিক্ষকদের বক্তব্যের কিছু ভিডিও চিত্র এরই মধ্যে সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে।
সংবাদবিষয়ক ওয়েবসাইট ভিডিও পিয়ারে এ ধরনের কিছু ভিডিও চিত্র পোস্ট করা হয়েছে। এক ভিডিও চিত্রে দেখা গেছে, প্রভাষকেরা লৈঙ্গিক সমতার বিরুদ্ধে বক্তব্য দিচ্ছেন। সেখানে বলা হয়েছে, নারীদের চাকরিতে ঢোকাই উচিত নয়। আর যদি ঢুকতেই হয়, তবে নিচের পদেই থাকা উচিত। একই সঙ্গে বাবা, ভাই ও স্বামীর প্রতিটি কথা অক্ষরে অক্ষরে মেনে চলার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয় নারী শিক্ষার্থীদের।
এ ছাড়া স্বামীর একতরফা বিবাহবিচ্ছেদের প্রতিবাদ না করারও পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয় ওই স্কুলের শিক্ষার্থীদের। আরেক ভিডিও চিত্রে দেখা গেছে, একজন প্রভাষক তাঁর শিক্ষার্থীদের বলছেন, ‘তোমাদের স্বামীরা যত যাই করতে বলুক না কেন, তোমাদের উত্তর হওয়া উচিত ‘হ্যাঁ, এখনই করছি।’
চীনের পত্রিকা গ্লোবাল টাইমসের খবরে বলা হয়েছে, ওই ইনস্টিটিউট ২০১১ সালে খোলা হয়। এটি বন্ধ করে দেওয়ার সময় শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের বেশ কয়েকজন কর্মী প্রতিবাদও করেছিলেন। তাঁদের দাবি, প্রতিষ্ঠানের উদ্দেশ্য ছিল দেশীয় সংস্কৃতিকে তুলে ধরা ও শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া। সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়া ভিডিও চিত্রের প্রতিষ্ঠানের লক্ষ্য-উদ্দেশ্যকে ভুলভাবে উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছে।
এদিকে ফুশুন শহরের স্থানীয় শিক্ষা ব্যুরো বলেছে, শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানটির শিক্ষার্থীদের যা শেখাচ্ছিল, তা সামাজিক ও সমাজতান্ত্রিক মূল্যবোধের পরিপন্থী। এ ধরনের শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোকে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে বন্ধ করে দেওয়া উচিত।
