বিয়ে নিয়ে প্রশ্ন করা হলে এ অভিনেত্রী বলেন, ‘আমি প্রজাপতির মতো। আমাকে আটকে রাখা যাবে না। যদি একটি পাত্রে আমাকে বন্দি করা হয়, আমার শ্বাস রুদ্ধ হয়ে যাবে। আপনি যখন আমাকে বিয়ের কথা বললেন, আমার মায়ের কথা মনে পড়ে গেলো। সেই একমাত্র আমাকে এই প্রশ্নটি করেন।

এমন নয় যে আমি বিয়ে করতে চাই না। কিন্তু যাকে বিয়ে করব তাকেও আমার মতো হতে হবে। আমার মতো তাকেও ভ্রমণে পটু হতে হবে। ’

নার্গিস অভিনীত সর্বশেষ মুক্তিপ্রাপ্ত সিনেমা বাঞ্জো। পরবর্তীতে ফাইভ ওয়েডিংস নামের একটি হলিউড সিনেমায় দেখা যাবে তাকে। বর্তমানে চলছে এর প্রি-প্রোডাকশনের কাজ। অন্যদিকে পারিবারিক প্রযোজনা প্রতিষ্ঠান নিয়েই ব্যস্ত উদয়। ধুম ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজিতে তাকে দেখা গেলেও গত চার বছর মুক্তি পায়নি এই সিরিজের কোনো সিনেমা।
