The Court has fixed the date for submitting the investigation report against seven people, including actress Kusum Shikder, on the charge of the music video.
The case was fixed on Sunday to submit the investigation report. However, due to the failure to submit the report to Ramna Police Station, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurunnahar Yasmin filed the report on February 18.
On 17 September, Supreme Court lawyer Khandker Nazmul Ahsan filed the case with the plaintiff. The court took the case and asked Ramna Police Station to investigate the case.
In addition to the song singer and model Kusum Sikder in the case, several others including the co-model Khaled Hossain Sujon, the director of the film Shuvra Khan and Srabani and the managing director of the video publishing company 'Banga' (Steller Digital Ltd) were accused.
According to the case documents, on August 3, a music video titled 'Nasha' was released from the YouTube channel 'Bangbadi' by actress Kusum Shikder. With the release of Kusum Sikder's appealing presence in the video, criticism started in the media and social media.
Later on 13th August, lawyers of Aftab Uddin Siddiqui Raghib gave a legal notice to the plaintiff for removing all the legitimate videos and teasers from the song on August 13. Still, the prosecution was filed in accordance with section 8 of the Penograph Regulation Act 2012.
মিউজিক ভিডিওর নামে পর্নোগ্রাফির অভিযোগে অভিনেত্রী কুসুম শিকদারসহ সাতজনের বিরুদ্ধে তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন দাখিলের নতুন তারিখ নির্ধারণ করেছেন আদালত।
রোববার মামলাটি তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন দাখিলের দিন ধার্য ছিল। তবে এদিন রমনা থানা পুলিশ প্রতিবেদন দাখিল করতে ব্যর্থ হওয়ায় ঢাকা মহানগর হাকিম নুরুন্নাহার ইয়াসমিন প্রতিবেদন দাখিলে ১৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি দিন ধার্য করেন।
গত ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর সুপ্রিমকোর্টের আইনজীবী খন্দকার নাজমুল আহসান বাদী হয়ে মামলাটি দায়ের করেন। আদালত মামলাটি গ্রহণ করে রমনা থানাকে মামলাটি তদন্তের নির্দেশ দেন।
মামলায় গানটির গায়িকা ও মডেল কুসুম শিকদার ছাড়াও সহ-মডেল খালেদ হোসাইন সুজন, ভিডিওটির পরিচালক শুভ্র খান ও শ্রাবণী এবং ভিডিও প্রকাশক প্রতিষ্ঠান ‘বঙ্গ’ (স্টেলার ডিজিটাল লি.) এর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালকসহ কয়েকজনকে আসামি করা হয়।
মামলার নথি থেকে জানা যায়, গত ৩ আগস্ট ‘বঙ্গ’ নামের প্রতিষ্ঠানের ইউটিউব চ্যানেল ‘বঙ্গবিডি’ থেকে অভিনেত্রী কুসুম শিকদারের ‘নেশা’ শিরোনামে একটি মিউজিক ভিডিও মুক্তি পায়। মুক্তির সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই ভিডিওতে কুসুম শিকদারের আবেদনময়ী উপস্থিতি নিয়ে গণমাধ্যমে ও সামাজিক মাধ্যমে জোর সমালোচনা শুরু হয়।
পরে ১৩ আগস্ট গানটির বৈধ-অবৈধ সব ভিডিও ও টিজার ইউটিউব থেকে সরানোর জন্য বাদীর পক্ষে আইনজীবী আফতাব উদ্দিন ছিদ্দিকী রাগিব আইনি নোটিশ দেন। তারপরও গানটি না সরানোতে পর্নোগ্রাফি নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইন ২০১২-এর ৮ ধারা অনুযায়ী মামলা করা হয়।
