নির্বাচনে বিজয়ী হওয়ার পর সবচেয়ে কমবয়সী এই কাউন্সিলরকে অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন স্থানীয় এমপি জেনি চাপম্যান ও এন্ড্রু গাইন। ব্রিটেনে বাংলাদেশি বংশোদ্ভূত প্রথম এমপি রোশনারা আলীর অভিনন্দন ও প্রশংসায়ও ভেসেছেন শরিফাহ।
মাত্র কয়েক মাস আগে শরিফাহ রহমান ‘এ’ লেভেল পরীক্ষায় ঈর্ষণীয় সাফল্য দেখিয়ে উর্ত্তীণ হন। এই সাফল্যের কয়েক মাসের মধ্যেই তিনি নির্বাচনে বিজয়ী হয়ে আরেক চমক দেখালেন।
