জানা গেছে, তিনটি ফ্যালকন ৯ রকেট একসঙ্গে জুড়ে তৈরি করা হয়েছে ফ্যালকন হেভি। রকেটটির প্রথম স্তরে নয়টি ইঞ্জিন কোরে ২৭টি মার্লিন ইঞ্জিন রয়েছে। এর ওজন ২৩ লাখ কেজি যা প্রায় ১৮টি বোয়িং ৭৪৭ প্লেনের সমান। স্যাটার্ন ভি রকেটের পর এটিই হবে সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী রকেট।
