গবেষণায় ২০ থেকে ৫৪ বছর বয়সী ৫৩১ জন পুরুষকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছিল। গবেষণায় দেখা গিয়েছে, যেসব পুরুষ উচ্চতায় কিছুটা কম তারা যৌনতা উপভোগে লম্বা পুরুষদের তুলনায় বেশি পারদর্শী হয়ে থাকেন। বিশেষ করে যাদের উচ্চতা পাঁচ ফুট নয় ইঞ্চি কিংবা তার চেয়ে কম সেসব পুরুষদের ক্ষেত্রে এ বিষয়টি বেশি প্রযোজ্য বলেই গবেষণায় উঠে এসেছে। এমনকি বেঁটে মানুশ্রাই তার সঙ্গী বা সঙ্গিনীকে সব থেকে বেশি শারীরিক সুখ দিতে পারে।

গবেষকরা জানিয়েছেন, ‘পুরুষের যৌন কার্যক্রমের মাত্রা ও বৈশিষ্ট্যের ওপর ভিত্তি করে উচ্চতা, ওজন, স্বাস্থ্যগত বিষয় বিবেচনা করে বিষয়টি তুলনা করা হয়েছে।’ তারা জানিয়েছেন এতে দেখা গিয়েছে যে, ‘আশ্চর্যজনকভাবে পাঁচ ফুট নয় ইঞ্চির চেয়ে কম লম্বা পুরুষরা যৌনতার দিক দিয়ে অন্যদের তুলনায় পারদর্শী।’
