Researchers claim that the relationship between long husbands and short wives is the happiest of their life and family life. Their demand is as high as the height difference between husband and wife, the relationship is stronger and happier. Researchers have also said that sexual relations between them is very deep.
The study, published in the Journal of Personality and Individual Disorders, claims that women are generally attracted to tall men but there is no evidence that tall men can make them more happy.

পারসোনালিটি অ্যান্ড ইন্ডিভিজুয়াল ডিফারেন্সেস জার্নালে প্রকাশিত ওই গবেষণায় দাবি করা হয়, নারীরা সাধারণত লম্বা পুরুষদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হলেও লম্বা পুরুষরা তাদের বেশি সুখি করতে পারেন এমন কোনও প্রমাণ পাওয়া যায়নি।
তবে স্বামী-স্ত্রীর মধ্যে উচ্চতার পার্থক্য যত বেশি হয়, দাম্পত্য জীবন ততই সুখের হয়।
যদিও এই গবেষণাটি প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর মিশ্র প্রতিক্রিয়া আসতে থাকে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায়।
কেউ কেউ লিখেছেন, নিজেকে মানানসই দেখাতে বা সুখী হতে নয়, লম্বা সন্তান পেতেই বেশি উচ্চতার পুরুষদের দিকে ঝোঁকেন নারীরা।
