২. মধুর আসল-নকল নির্ধারণ করতে এক টুকরো কাগজে অল্প একটু মধু লাগিয়ে নিন। এবার যেখানে পিঁপড়ে আছে সেখানে রেখে দিন। তারপর অপেক্ষা করতে থাকুন। মধুতে যদি পিঁপড়ে ধরে তাহলে বুঝে নেবেন আপনার কেনা মধুতে ভেজাল আছে।
৩. পরিস্কার সাদা কাপড়ে অল্প একটু মধু লাগিয়ে শুকিয়ে নিন। একটু পর কাপড়টি ধুয়ে ফেলুন। কাপড়ে দাগ থেকে গেলে বুঝতে হবে এই মধু নকল। আর কাপড়ে দাগ না থাকলে সেটা খাঁটি মধু।
৪. এছাড়াও একটু সময় নিয়ে যদি যাচাই করতে চান আপনার কেনা মধুটি আসল না নকল তাহলে, মধু ডিপ ফ্রিজে রেখে দিন। ভেজাল মধু হলে এটা জমে যাবে। আর না জমলেও ভেজাল মধুর নিচে জমাট তলানি পড়বে।
