চলতি বছরে ‘পদ্মাবতী’ বিতর্কে সবার নজরে চলে আসেন দীপিকা। ফলে হু-হু করে বাড়তে থাকে তাঁর ফলোয়ারের সংখ্যা। অন্যদিকে অনেক দিন ধরেই বলিউড থেকে দূরে ছিলেন প্রিয়াঙ্কা চোপড়া। হলিউডের জনপ্রিয় কোয়ান্টিকো ধারাবাহিকে অভিনয় করতে গিয়ে বলিউড থেকে হলিউডেই সময় দিয়েছেন তিনি। ফলে ভক্তের সংখ্যায় তিনি আর পেরে ওঠেননি দীপিকার সঙ্গে। 

তবে শীর্ষস্থান দখল করেছেন ভারতের নরেন্দ্র মোদি। তাঁর ফলোয়ারের সংখ্যা ৩৭.৫ মিলিয়ন, যা গতবছর ছিল ২৪.৬ মিলিয়নে। তাঁর পরেই রয়েছেন বলিউড শাহেনশাহ অমিতাভ বচ্চন। তাঁর ফলোয়ারের সংখ্যা ৩১.৫ মিলিয়ন। প্রায় এক মিলিয়ন ফলোয়ার কম নিয়ে পরের স্থানেই রয়েছেন শাহরুখ খান। চতুর্থ স্থানটি যৌথভাবে দখলে নিয়েছেন সালমান খান। শাহরুখের চেয়ে প্রায় দুই মিলিয়ন কম ফলোয়ার রয়েছে সালমানের। এর পরে রয়েছেন যথাক্রমে অক্ষয় কুমার, আমির খান, দীপিকা পাডুকোন, শচীন টেন্ডুলকার, হৃতিক রোশন, বিরাট কোহলি। 

তাঁদের মধ্যে গত বছরের তুলনায় ফলোয়ারের সংখ্যা সবচেয়ে বেশি বেড়েছে নরেন্দ্র মোদি ও অক্ষয় কুমারের। গত বছরের তুলনায় এ বছর ভক্ত বেড়েছে প্রায় ৫২ শতাংশ।
