তা সত্ত্বেও দীপিকাকে হারিয়ে দিলেন নিয়া। সর্বভারতীয় এক সংবাদমাধ্যমের প্রতিবেদন অনুযায়ী, ২০১৭ সালে এশিয়ার ‘সেক্সি উওম্যান’ এর দ্বিতীয় স্থানে এখন নিয়া শর্মার মাথা। লন্ডনের একটি সাপ্তাহিক খবরের কাগজ ‘ইস্টার্ন আই’ এই রেটিং করেছে।

গত বছরের জয়ী প্রিয়াঙ্কা চোপড়া এ বছরেও নিজের জায়গা অটুট রেখেছেন। প্রসঙ্গত, প্রিয়াঙ্কাকে অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে টুইট করেছিলেন নিয়া শর্মা। উত্তরে, প্রিয়াঙ্কা তাঁকে ধন্যবাদ জানিয়ে টুইট করেন।
