১. অতিমাত্রায় যৌনমিলন : জীবনের তাগিদে অনেক সময় অপরিণত বয়সে অনেকেই ইচ্ছায় বা অনিচ্ছায় বিয়ের আগে এক বা একাধিক পুরুষের সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়ে থাকে এবং মাত্রাতিরিক্ত যৌনমিলনে অভ্যস্ত হয়ে পড়ে। অনেকেই আবার বিয়ের আগে একাধিকবার এমআর করে থাকে, যার কারণে যৌনাঙ্গ অকালেই প্রসারিত হয়ে যায়। ফলে দাম্পত্য জীবনের শুরুতেই নানাবিধ জটিলতা দেখা দেয়।
২. অপরিণত বয়সে যৌনমিলন : আমাদের সমাজে বাল্যবিবাহ একটি বহুল প্রচলিত সামাজিক সমস্যা। বাল্যবিবাহে সাধারণত ১১ থেকে ১৫ বছর বয়সে মেয়েদের বিয়ে দেয়া হয়। বয়স কম থাকার ফলে এই বয়সী মেয়েদের শারীরিক ও মানসিক পরিপক্বতা লাভ করে না এবং অপরিপক্ব বয়সে দৈহিক মিলনের ফলে নারীর যৌনাঙ্গ বা যোনীপথ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে থাকে। এতে পরিণত বয়সে পুরুষ সঙ্গীটি যৌনমিলনে আর স্বাভাবিক তৃপ্তি পায় না। ফলে দাম্পত্য জীবনে পারিবারিক কলহ, বিবাহবিচ্ছেদ, পরকীয়া প্রেমের মতো ঘটনাও ঘটে থাকে।
৩. নরমাল ডেলিভারি : নরমাল ডেলিভারিতে স্বাভাবিকভাবেই নারীর প্রসবের রাস্তা বড় হয়ে যায় এবং কোনো কোনো ক্ষেত্রে মাংসপেশী দুর্বল হয়ে যায়। তা ছাড়া বড় মাথার বাচ্চা বা উল্টো ডেলিভারির বেশির ভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই বাচ্চার জীবন বাঁচানোর জন্য পেরিনিয়াল মাংসপেশি কাটতে এপিসিওটমি অপারেশন করাতে হয়, যা সেলাই করার পরও আগের মতো স্বাভাবিক হয় না। এর ফলে নারীর যৌনীপথ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় এবং দুর্বল মাংসপেশির জন্য প্রসবের রাস্তা স্থায়ীভাবে প্রশস্ত হয়ে যায়।
৪. প্রিসিপিটেট লেবার : ডেলিভারিতে ডেলিভারি-প্রক্রিয়ার প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় ধাপ দুই ঘণ্টার চেয়ে কম সময়ে সম্পূর্ণ হয়, ফলে সারভাইকাল টেয়ার (সারভিক্স ছিলে যাওয়া), থার্ড ডিগ্রি পেরিনিয়াল টেয়ার (ভেজাইনাল টিস্যু, পেরিনিয়াল স্কিন, পেরিনিয়াল মাংসপেশি থেকে শুরু করে পায়ুপথের মাংস পর্যন্ত ছিঁড়ে যায়)। সাধারণত সেলাই করার পরও আগের মতো স্বাভাবিক হয় না, ফলে নারীর যৌনীপথ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় এবং প্রসব-পরবর্তী সময়ে প্রসবের রাস্তা স্থায়ীভাবে প্রশস্ত হয়ে যায়।
৫. প্রস্রাব ধরে রাখতে না পারা : নিম্নাঙ্গের মাংসপেশি দুর্বলতার কারণে অনেক নারীই প্রস্রাব ধরে রাখতে পারে না। নরমাল ডেলিভারিতে যোনীপথের মাংসপেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে মূত্রথলি ওপর থেকে নিচে নেমে আসে এবং মূত্রথলির স্বাভাবিক কর্মক্ষমতা হ্রাস পায়। ফলে হাঁচি-কাশিতে প্রস্রাব বের হয়ে যায়, এমনকি বাথরুমে যাওয়ার আগেই ফোঁটায় ফোঁটায় প্রস্রাব পড়তে থাকে।
