এই নায়িকা বলেন, ‘গন্তব্যে’র শেষ লটের শুটিং চলছে। আমি চারদিন ধরে টানা কাজ করছি। টানা ৩০ নভেম্বর পর্যন্ত শুটিং চলবে। এরপর ছবির শুটিং শেষ হবে। এই ছবিতে আইরিনের চরিত্রের নাম আইরিন। এ নিয়ে বেশ উচ্ছ্বসিত তিনি। নিজ নামে প্রথম সিনেমায় উপস্থিত হতে যাচ্ছেন আইরিন।
এ নিয়ে তিনি বলেন, এর আগে কোনো সিনেমায় আমি নিজ নামে অভিনয় করিনি। এবারই প্রথম। আমার নিজের নামেই দর্শক আমাকে পর্দায় দেখতে পাবেন। বিষয়টা বেশ মজার।
গল্প নিয়ে আইরিন বলেন, ‘সিনেমাটির মূল কেন্দ্রে থাকবে জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের ৭ মার্চের ভাষণ। দর্শক আমাকে দেখতে পাবেন একসঙ্গে দুইটি চরিত্রে। একটি শহরের চরিত্র অন্যটি জেলে পাড়ার। তবে তা জমজ নয়। গল্পটাই ভিন্ন। যার রহস্য ভেদ করতে সিনেমাটি মুক্তি পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা করতে হবে।’
‘গন্তব্যে’ আইরিনের সহশিল্পী ফেরদৌস। একসঙ্গে তাদের এটিই প্রথম কাজ। ছবির গল্প সঞ্জীবন শিকদারের পথনাটক ‘কই বললো’ থেকে নেওয়া। মানিকগঞ্জ, পদ্মার পাড়সহ বেশকিছু এলাকায় শুটিং হয়েছে।
সুইট চিলি ফিল্মসের ব্যানারে এতে আরও অভিনয় করছেন জয়ন্ত চট্টোপাধ্যায়, এলিনা শাম্মী, কাজী রাজু ও মাসুম আজিজ। আগামী বছর ছবিটি মুক্তি পাবে বলে জানা গেছে।
